Way ahead of its time, Tweedvale Milk began processing its own milk on-farm 30 years ago. This year once again, the Adelaide Hills business has won medals in the DIAA Australian Dairy Product Competition across its small, carefully crafted product range.
And just like its first (gold) medal back in 2003, the excitement has not abated…
Thirty years ago, Giuliano and Rita Lorenzetti made a brave decision. At a time when it was virtually unheard of in Australia, the Adelaide Hills dairy farmers decided to start processing their own milk.
The much-loved SA travel-lifestyle show, Channel 9's South Aussie With Cosi, featured Tweedvale Milk in a recent episode, showcasing just what it is about Tweedvale Milk that makes it so enjoyed by South Australians and so appreciated by national food judges.
